Art Nouveau Pedestal in wood and brass, Belgium, ca. 1910

Price: Price on request

An elegant Belgian pedestal table dating to circa 1910, crafted in wood and brass with refined Art Nouveau detailing. Attributed stylistically to the influence of Gustave Serrurier-Bovy, this piece reflects the architect’s signature blend of rational structure and decorative grace.

The tripod base features gently flared legs joined by ornate brass stretchers, embossed with geometric motifs and cut-out detailing that evoke the organic-mechanical tension of the period. The round wooden top is modestly scaled, ideal for displaying sculpture, floral arrangements, or treasured objects.

Its verticality and lightness make it a versatile accent in both historic and contemporary interiors. The piece shows small traces of use consistent with age, adding to its authentic patina and charm.
