A pretty 19th century Louis XV style piano stool in carved wood with old layers of creme and gold paint. Its padded cushion has its original upholstery in a delicate needlepoint tapestry featuring a design of roses and leaf sprays and secured all round with a nailhead trim. The banquette is supported by four cabriole legs, each embellished with an intricate floral carving that matches the central apron's motif, while the wood is beautifully aged with an attractive and authentic patina and old layers of paint. The graceful lines and warm colors of this adorable little bench would bring a refinement to any room. Unfortunately the fabric has an old stain and therefor we can re-upholster this stool in consultation with the new owner.
Compact in size yet grand in style, this piece serves as both a functional and decorative accent. Its curved cabriole legs and scalloped apron lend a light, graceful presence, making it an ideal choice for a variety of settings. Place it in a bedroom, or let it add a touch of refinement to your living room as a convenient footrest or display pedestal. This Louis XV-style footstool is perfect for those who appreciate the beauty of antique furniture and seek to incorporate a touch of French heritage into their homes.
